In August 2025, XARNA Medicine successfully raised $1.5 million in angel funding to support preclinical efficacy investigations for its HCV mRNA vaccine candidate. The funding will be used to strengthen the company’s preclinical pipeline and advance its proprietary mRNA platform technologies.

Following this achievement, in October 2025, XARNA Medicine entered into a fee-for-service agreement with Emory University (Atlanta, GA, USA) to conduct mouse immunogenicity studies evaluating the company’s HCV mRNA vaccine. This collaboration marks an important step toward demonstrating the vaccine’s preclinical safety and efficacy.
