XARNA aims for the discovery and development of mRNA-based vaccines and therapeutic biologics. We utilize extensive basic science knowledge and chemical innovations to design mRNA platforms that will optimally produce target proteins in cells. mRNA biologics targeting immunological and genetic disorders and mRNA vaccines against infectious diseases are our current pipeline concepts. Therapeutic platforms developed by XARNA will be validated in pre-clinical/animal models for their efficacy and safety, ultimately in human trials.

XARNA Medicine utilizes Samyang’s Stability Enhanced Nano Shell (SENS™) drug delivery system, a proprietary gene delivery platform that incorporates novel ionizable lipids and biodegradable polymers.

In addition, XARNA Medicine employs ST Pharm’s proprietary 5’-capping reagent, SmartCap™, for its mRNA vaccine pipelines.
